back to the mountains

A long period of silence on the blog — I took the wrong adapter to get the camera and computer to talk to each other while we were hiking in the Sierras in northern California the past two weeks.

Beautiful Lake Tahoe with its sparkling blue waters was surrounded by hazy mountains due to the smoke from fires in Big Sur, on the coastline 150 miles away.
